Former Coty Executive To Lead Chanel’s Fragrance & Beauty Business

Joining from fashion brand Tod’s, Simona Cattaneo will take over the post in January.

Chanel has tapped Simona Cattaneo to serve as its next fragrance and beauty president.

Cattaneo—currently with Tod’s Group, a fashion brand—had prior been president of Coty’s luxury unit. She will take over the role in January after Anne Kirby, current head of the luxury beauty brand, retires.

Cattaneo’s career also includes role at L’Oréal, Parfums Christian Dior and Burberry.

Kirby has been with Chanel for more than three decades and has been president of the beauty and fragrance unit since 2018.
